| Dr.Mahesh
PA is heading the International
Asthma Services, India chapter
and is the Secretary of Indian
Academy of Allergy, a national
body promoting the field of allergy
He is teaching as an Associate
Professor in Respiratory Diseases
at JSS Medical College, Mysore.
He is a faculty and has helped
in Developing Syllabus for the
formal training program in Allergy
at CMC, Vellore.. He has been
involved in several projects
funded by the Indian Council
of Medical Research ,European
Commission (EuroPrevall) Department
of Science and Technology, University
Grants Commission, Federation
of International Pharmacy and
other projects in the field of
Asthma, Hygiene Hypothesis, Food
Allergy, Urticaria, Immunotherapy
and drug trials. He is the lead
author in the textbook on Principles
and Interpretation of Chest X-rays.
He has received the “Young
scientist award” for he
best paper and “Raju award ” for
the best clinical paper by the
Indian College of Allergy Asthma
and Immunology. He has received
travel grant from the WAO 2005,
for the junior scientist. Has
experience in Phase II,III and
IV clinical trials. |

| Dr.G.PARTHASARATHI
is heading Clinical Pharmacy
Services at JSS Medical College
Hospital, Mysore is also PROFESSOR & HEAD
of Department of Pharmacy Practice,
JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore.
He is a visiting faculty at School
of Medical Sciences, Univ. South
Australia and visiting Professor
at Department of Pharmacy Practice,
MCOPS, MAHE, Manipal. For his
innovative thoughts and ideas
in Pharmacy Practice in Indian
set up he was awarded with "Young
Teacher of year 2000" award
from Association of Pharmacy
Teachers of India. He is also
the recipient of Distinguished
Alumni 2002 of COPS, KMC, Manipal.
SEVEN of the research papers/presentations
where he is a co-author have
won the best paper awards and
has been a lead editor for the
textbook 'A Textbook of Clinical
Pharmacy practice -Essential
concepts and Skills". His
research interests are in the
areas of Adverse Drug Reactions,
Quality of life studies in different
chronic diseases and drug usage
evaluation especially antibiotics.
Research grants received were
from UGC, AICTE, ICMR, International
Pharmaceutical Federation, and
Rajeev Gandhi Univ. Health Sciences. |

| Dr.AMRUTHA
DH is a consultant in Allergy
and Asthma practising since 1999.
She received her training at
National Jewish Institute of
Medical Research, USA. She was
involved in various epidemiologic
studies as well as Phase II,
III, and IV drug trials. She
has hands-on experience in assessing
endotoxin in house dust samples.
She has special interest in sublingual
immunitherapy [SLIT].She has
completed Diploma in Allergy
and Asthma at CMC ,Vellore and
has been awarded the HENRY CLAMAN
gold medal for the best outgoing
student. |
